Curb Appeal
Begin with the outside of your home, or your curb appeal. Inspect the exterior of your home from a street view. What do you notice first? What positive features seem to fade into the background? Knowing this helps us to decide what plan of action we can use to draw buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't as neat as possible with retouched paint and bright greenery it's time to get those things done.

Welcome Home
Can buyers envision themselves watching a movie in your living room, reading a good book in your spa tub or getting work done in your home office? We want your house to welcome buyers and offer them a sense of ease. I'll help you accomplish this by suggesting changes that enhance the features of your home. I'll help you take away anything that gives the impression of clutter. Counter tops should be neatly arranged. Kitschy sculptures, souvenirs, family photos, and refrigerator drawings should get stored away too. We'll de-clutter your house. Unattractive or messy areas make your home feel less spacious and buyers have a more difficult time imagining themselves calling your place home.
I know instantly where a room's best characteristics are and how to show them off. Areas that directly affect your sale price include fixable like pieces of furniture that should be rearranged, rooms that need new paint, carpet that needs to be replaced, fixtures that need replacing, and windows that need cleaning.
With me by your side, you'll know that your house has mass appeal and that it's comfortable, steering clear of "loud" or "can't-work-with" shades on the walls and furniture. And if you've already moved out, you can try renting furnishings. The goal is for your house to look lived in as opposed to deserted.
Setting the Stage You'll know when it's time for the Open House, because all of the changes come together to paint a picture of what buyers can expect after they choose to buy your house. Brightness is important and we'll part the curtains, and change light bulbs where needed to invite the buyer inside. We'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests experience your home and assure a pleasant aroma circulates from every room. We'll incorporate cozy-looking throws, and place pillows on your couch and bedding. We want buyers to feel like your current house is their future home. |
